Eddie Scott

As an alumnus of the former West Texas State University, Eddie has demonstrated a level of commitment to the university that can serve as a model for others. His former service to WT as a regent and as a WT Foundation board member shows his appreciation for the impact the university has had on his own life and career.

Eddie Scott has been an influential leader in West Texas throughout his career. As an attorney, CPA and real estate developer, Eddie has created economic growth in his community which has enhanced the lives of its residents. As the primary developer for two residential developments in Amarillo, primary owner of Document Shredding and Storage, Sparky’s Storage, and several car washes, Eddie has created jobs and neighborhoods that have benefitted countless West Texas citizens.

Eddie has served as a board member or chairman for the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, the Salvation Army, the Amarillo Area Foundation, the Amarillo Club, the Rotary Club of Amarillo, the Amarillo Businessmen’s Club, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the Amarillo Business Foundation, and the Amarillo Board of City Development. He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Amarillo Bar Association, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. His dedicated service to the community is an example of outstanding leadership to be emulated by all who know him.
